Hundreds of Thousands of Visitors Met with Technology on the 4th Day of TEKNOFEST Adana!
Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of BAYKAR and the T3 Foundation, held a conversation at the TEKNOFEST Children's Stage with T3 Foundation volunteers who took on volunteer roles at TEKNOFEST and contributed significantly to the festival's organization. While chatting with the young volunteers, Bayraktar answered their questions and thanked them for their efforts.
The International Invention Fair (ISIF), organized as part of TEKNOFEST 2024, aimed to raise awareness of technology and innovation by hosting inventors and entrepreneurs. The fair showcased numerous inventions that will shape the future, rewarding creative and inspiring projects. These inventions have the potential to offer new solutions not only to the technology world but also to human life.
TEKNOFEST Adana was the stage for one of the most striking examples of overcoming barriers with technology. With the support of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, individuals with disabilities had the opportunity to connect with technology shaping Turkey’s future. Participants, who reached the fairground through a special tour organized by the municipality, were introduced to UAVs and armed UAVs, stepping into the world of technology. During this inspiring experience, participants gained detailed insights into our national achievements in defense technologies and observed the strategic strength of our country on the international stage.
The competition in the TEKNOFEST Champions League continued unabated. One of the significant events on the fourth day was the Champions League 3rd Task Final Presentations, which took place in an exciting atmosphere with the participation of Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, T3 Foundation Board Chair Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, and the founder of the Umuda Koşanlar Association Gamze Özçelik, where the top 50 teams were announced and their presentations determined. Young talents fiercely competed to impress the jury and audience with their technological projects.
One of the most anticipated events of the day, the flight demonstrations, left the audience breathless. The aerial displays of Hürkuş, Atak Helicopter, Aksungur, and S70 Steel Wings, as well as the group flight of Bayraktar Akıncı and Bayraktar TB3, the demonstration flight of Bayraktar TB2 and 152 Squadron, breathtaking performances by the Turkish Stars and Solo Türk, and the T70's air evacuation flight provided adrenaline-filled moments for the viewers. Aimed at increasing interest in aviation, these demonstrations opened new horizons for the imaginations of children in particular.
TEKNOFEST’s events for children also attracted great interest on the fourth day. With science demonstrations, children not only had fun but also experienced the excitement of discovering science. The day was filled with creative workshops and educational activities, inspiring big dreams for the little inventors.
On the fourth day of TEKNOFEST, the TÜRKAY – Turkish Harmony Stars Orchestra took the stage, offering visitors an unforgettable music feast. The energetic performance of the orchestra received great applause, while visitors enjoyed these special moments where art and technology came together.
The Rafadan Tayfa – Technological Crew show showcased on the main stage was highly appreciated by children and their families. With its educational yet entertaining structure, this show combined technology and culture, providing young viewers with an unforgettable experience.
The TEKNOFEST Children's Stage provided a day full of exciting and educational activities for young visitors. With award-winning trivia contests, "The Stage is Yours" children's activities, and attention-grabbing performances like Hürkuş and Gökbey the Musical, children both had fun and enjoyed the pleasure of learning.
As part of the program "A Child Comes, Touches an Airplane" organized in memory of Özdemir Bayraktar, children experienced an unforgettable flight adventure. In a project where 15 children of martyrs residing in Adana also had the chance to ride a helicopter and soar in the sky, the little ones who touched the airplanes and participated in flight programs opened the doors to the world of aviation. This special event served as an inspiration for future engineers and pilots.
